Probation Period:
All newly hired employees at MMS will be “on probation” for an initial period of maximum ninety (90) calendar days beginning with their date of employment, or effective date of reclassification (i.e. temporary to permanent full time status). This probation period gives you a chance to learn your new job, observe our culture and working environment and provides MMS with time to observe your skills and progress at work.
Your manager will evaluate your job performance and conduct by holding a probation review with you. This review and subsequent discussions with your manager, and meeting with Human Resources department representatives are all designed to give you feedback on and an opportunity to discuss your performance and conduct. At the successful completion of the probation, you will be classified as a regular full-time employee
On-boarding:
When you are hired, your manager will ensure that you are properly on boarded to your new job at MMS. On-boarding normally begins on your first day of work and is a time to acquaint you with MMS story, current operations, physical layout of your work site, job duties, personnel policies, procedures, benefits and other relevant information.
